I was not 100% sure what to expect when I was flicking through the CD's at the music store and found this. I'm a big BR fan and have been for many years. I have many CD's, Videos, Shirts and Patch’s, all of which I play and wear very proudly. I listen to the words and understand the meanings behind them. As Greg Gaffin would always tell me to think and why I am here writing this. I was in two minds on how such a band as Bad Religion would create such an EP and with such spiritual songs but the more I listened the more I loved the BR spin. Even though the guys have guys have given credit to these songs you still get that Bad Religion vibe through the speakers. Even though I have read other reviews on this album, and many criticise the use of American Jesus on the end of the EP, I think it is a touch of BR brilliance and love that. I cannot wait to whip this out at Xmas and see if anyone picks up on it as it starts off for the first 15 seconds of ‘Hark! The Herald Angles Sing’ and does not let up from there. My kids love this version and want me to play it over and over. Me, I’m a fan of ‘The Little Drummer Boy’ which starts off very strong and keeps on going through-out the song.
